We’re delighted to introduce Libby Liburd, who’s been instrumental in the development of Premier Performing Arts’ (PPA) new Drama programme.
Libby has been consulting with many schools and educational experts to develop the new Drama programme. Libby has always been passionate about Drama and its use as an educational tool with young people. The new PPA Drama scheme will enable children and young people to learn in a new and vibrant way.
Libby Liburd is also a trained actor who graduated from East 15 Acting School. She has worked extensively in theatre, TV, film, cabaret and comedy, and continues to work in the industry.
She has also worked with young people and has over 17 years’ experience teaching drama in all sectors - including schools, PRU’s, youth justice, community settings and theatre companies - and has worked with all age groups from 3 to 25.
Libby is an Arts Award trainer, consultant and adviser for Trinity College London. She trains and delivers at all Arts Award levels and has co-ordinated, delivered and supported many Arts Award projects for a range of organisations across the UK.
